The company is a leading SaaS platform built specifically for financial advisors and insurance professionals. Trusted by more than 40,000 customers, the platform helps firms grow their businesses through websites, email marketing, social media, compliant client communications, automation, and CRM integrations—all from a single application.
Following a series of strategic acquisitions, the engineering team is now focused on unifying multiple products into one seamless platform. This is a high-impact initiative to create a consistent user experience across services and to modernize and scale a mature enterprise SaaS product.
About the Role
This is a fully remote role (LATAM/Canada candidates welcome) with a salary of USD $70,000–$100,000 depending on experience. The initial engagement is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend or convert, depending on performance and business needs.
You will join a team responsible for integrating an acquired product into the core FMG platform and evolving it into a fully unified experience. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will take ownership of features end-to-end—from design and data modelling through to production deployment.
You’ll be working in a fast-moving environment where the focus is on ownership, execution, and engineering judgment, not just familiarity with specific tools.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain full-stack features across backend and frontend systems
Lead feature development from requirements to production deployment
Design and implement backend services and APIs (Go, REST)
Work with relational data models in MySQL
Build frontend experiences using TypeScript and React (Next.js preferred)
Develop and maintain microservice-based systems
Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems using OAuth/OIDC and APIs
Improve system reliability, observability, and maintainability
Contribute to infrastructure and operational improvements (monitoring, backups, automation, security)
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in an iterative environment
What We're Looking For
Required:
5+ years of experience building production web applications
Strong experience with Go
Strong understanding of REST API design
Solid experience with MySQL and relational database design
Experience with TypeScript and React (Next.js is a plus)
Experience building microservices
Strong software engineering fundamentals (modularity, testability, clean architecture)
Proven ability to take features from concept to production
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Self-directed and comfortable working in a remote team
Nice to Have:
AWS or cloud infrastructure experience
Experience with OAuth/OIDC, SSO, or identity integrations (any provider)
Experience integrating third-party APIs or CRM platforms
Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) experience
Experience supporting SOC2 or other compliance/security initiatives
Observability tools (Sentry, Prometheus, structured logging)
CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
Experience with AI-assisted development tools
What Makes This Role Exciting
You’ll be working on the integration of an acquired product into a large-scale SaaS platform
You’ll own meaningful features end-to-end, not just isolated components
You’ll help modernize and unify multiple enterprise systems into one platform
You’ll work in an...
