Join SGS, the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company, and play a key role in supporting innovative organisations that are developing the next generation of therapies and life-changing products.This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow a sales territory, develop strategic customer partnerships, and work closely with industry-leading scientific experts to deliver specialist testing and biosafety solutions across the life sciences market.What you'll be doingGrowing and developing business across pharmaceutical, biotech and life sciences accountsIdentifying and securing new opportunities while expanding existing customer relationshipsDeveloping and executing a territory sales plan to achieve ambitious revenue targetsBuilding strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholdersCollaborating with technical and operational teams to deliver tailored client solutionsManaging opportunities through Salesforce CRM and maintaining accurate forecastsRepresenting SGS at customer meetings, industry events and conferencesTravelling across your territory in Eurpoe (approximately 50%) to strengthen client partnerships and drive growthQualificationsWhat we're looking forProven sales success within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, laboratory or wider life sciences sector is Essential Educated to degree level in a relevant scientific discipline, or able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience and knowledgeA natural relationship builder with excellent influencing, networking and negotiation skillsExperience managing a sales pipeline and delivering against challenging revenue targetsStrong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsExperience using Salesforce or other CRM systemsKnowledge of virology, biosafety, GLP, GMP or biopharmaceutical testing would be advantageousIf you're looking for a role where you can combine commercial success with scientific innovation and make a genuine impact in the life sciences sector, we'd love to hear from you.Additional InformationAt SGS, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and commitment.
