Senior Project Manager – Software & Controls Solutions

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex controls and automation projects for GE Vernova's Software & Controls Solutions business. This role manages project delivery, customer relationships, contract execution, and financial performance while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The position serves as the primary customer interface and leads cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, field services, and commercial functions to deliver turbine control modernization and automation solutions.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from order receipt through commissioning and closeout.
• Manage project financials, including revenue, profitability, cash collection, forecasting, and cost control.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Manage project schedules, risks, communications, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive change orders, growth opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project management standards, and company policies.
• Travel as required within the assigned region and internationally to support customer meetings, project execution, site activities, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience managing complex projects within the Power Generation, Energy, Oil & Gas, or Industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of turbine controls, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), cybersecurity, excitation systems, instrumentation, and power generation technologies.
• Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) or turnkey project execution.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer management, and contract management skills.
• Experience with SAP and project management methodologies.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Valid passport and visa.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
• PMP, MBA, and Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
