Save Report this job JOB TITLE: Campus TechnicianWAGE/HOUR STATUS: Non-exemptFUNDING SOURCE: LocalREPORTS TO: Director of Technical ServicesPAY GRADE: IT-1: 192 days (ECC, ES, MS, Cardwell); 230 days (High School)DEPARTMENT: TechnologyDATE REVISED: June 2020A Letter of Assurance will be issued for this position.PRIMARY PURPOSE:Maintain technology equipment providing both hardware and software technical assistance as neededQualificationsMinimum Education/Certification: High School diploma or GEDA + Certification or current OS MCP or willingness to acquire within two (2) years of hiringSpecial Knowledge/SkillsKnowledge of installation, troubleshooting and repair of computer hardware including but not limited to computers, printers, A/V, cameras, scanners, copiers.Effective interpersonal, organizational, communication skills (written and verbal) train campus staff and supervise Interns.Excellent software and hardware troubleshooting skills.Ability to maintain records; follows written and oral instructions.Minimum ExperienceExperience working with computer systems using current operating systems, productivity software such as Office suite, anti-virus, imaging software, Inventory Management etc.Setting up and maintaining computers on a wired and wireless network.Experience in configuration, troubleshooting and repair of computers and other technology equipment.Major Responsibilities And DutiesSet up and maintain the operations of all computer systems and other campus technologies as determined by Technical Services Department.Coordinate repairs on all technology related equipment on district campuses.Work with Technical Services, Instructional Technology and Infrastructure departments as needed to assist in major technology installations in the district.Troubleshoot and help support campus wireless and wired networks.Installation of licensed software for...
