The Junior Engineer - DOTR will be responsible for supporting sales order (SO) release, dispatch planning, and shipment execution activities within the supply chain team. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring timely order processing, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting on-time delivery in compliance with company procedures and operational standards.

Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the release of sales orders in line with business priorities, inventory availability, and customer requirements.
• Support dispatch planning and execution to ensure timely shipment of materials/products to customers or internal locations.
• Coordinate with planning, logistics, warehouse, production, and customer service teams to resolve order and dispatch-related issues.
• Monitor open orders, pending releases, shipment status, and dispatch schedules to support delivery commitments.
• Help prepare and review operational documentation, including dispatch records, shipping documents, order status reports, and system updates.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for issues related to order release blocks, material availability, shipment delays, and dispatch exceptions.
• Maintain accurate transaction records in ERP or supply chain systems.
• Support data analysis and generate reports related to order backlog, dispatch performance, on-time delivery, and open order status.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve release efficiency, delivery performance, and process accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and supply chain procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

Candidate should have knowledge of ERP System, Excel knowledge, Good CFT management, SO knowledge

Required Qualification:

• Diploma in mechanical / Automobile / Production
• 2-5 Years of experience
• Basic understanding of sales order processing, dispatch operations, logistics coordination, and inventory flow.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and order/shipment tracking processes is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel , ERP Sysntem for reporting and data analysis.
• Knowledge of on-time delivery, order management, and dispatch performance metrics is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills
