MISSION
As Quality Manager, you'll oversee customer satisfaction and complaint handling across your region, lead internal and external audits to ensure continued accreditation, and drive process improvement using PDCA and quality tools such as FMEA, Ishikawa, Pareto, and 8D. You'll manage documentation, training plans, and KPI reporting, run management review meetings, and work closely with local managers and other Quality Managers to keep quality objectives on track in an international, technical environment.
ACTIVITIES
- Contribute to the implementation of the management systems strategy and objectives in collaboration with the Quality Director.
- Foster a culture of "customer-first" awareness and ensure effective internal communication regarding quality.
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Ensure the effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality processes across manufacturing operations.
- Develop, maintain, and control quality procedures, work instructions, and documented information.
- Manage audit programs, both internal and external, according to their respective scopes.
- Organize and conduct internal audits at regional level and monitor action plan follow-ups.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure timely resolution of non-conformities.
- Monitor quality performance indicators (KPIs) and report quality trends to management.
- Facilitate Management Reviews and ensure follow-up of action plans.
- Support risk-based thinking and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality requirements.
- Manage supplier quality activities, including qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective action follow-up.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
- Support manufacturing teams in process validation, process control, and quality assurance activities.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across all functions.
- Provide training and coaching on quality standards, procedures, and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure effective investigation and resolution.
- Ensure readiness for certification audits and maintain ISO 9001 certification status.
- Support change management activities and assess quality impacts of process or organizational changes.
JOB EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years of experience in methods and quality management within an international environment.
- Strong background in processes and audit management.
- Experience in line and cross-functional management.
- Global understanding of technical environment activities.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Master's degree in Quality Management or equivalent qualification.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production environments, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
- Knowledge of ISO standards, including ISO 9001, 19011, and 27001 (a plus).
- Fluency in English.
