Job OverviewThis role supports business sales by leveraging technical expertise to design and present wireless communication solutions that meet customer needs. It involves consulting on customer opportunities, architecting solutions — including hands-on API-based integrations for Employee Choice and platform connectivity — and providing technical support during sales presentations and product demonstrations. The role requires maintaining expert knowledge of wireless devices, network technologies, APIs, and value-added solutions to address technical inquiries effectively. Success is measured by the ability to facilitate sales processes, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to customer satisfaction and sales growth. The work impacts the organization by enabling tailored wireless solutions that support business objectives and enhance customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support sales teams by consulting on customer needs and designing tailored wireless communication solutions to drive opportunity development
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, including API and Technical Portal capabilities, to address customer inquiries and facilitate informed decision-making
- Design, test, and support API-enabled solutions (e.g., Employee Choice, Technical Portal, client integrations), including hands-on configuration and validation, in partnership with Product Architects and CX teams
- Maintain and update technical expertise through training and certification in wireless technologies, API/integration frameworks, and industry developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback, support special projects, and engage in market-level initiatives
- Assist with post-sale support activities including troubleshooting, escalation management, API/integration support, and customer training sessions
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree STEM area of study strongly preferred (Preferred)
- 2-4 years experience in telecommunications, IT administration, network engineering, or API/systems integration roles — including direct hands-on work with REST APIs, API testing tools (e.g., Postman), or integration platforms — with a professional track record of successful solution sales, managing internal/external relationships in a matrix environment (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Technical Leadership (Required)
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communications; strong interpersonal skills (Required)
- Applications: Proficiency with business application software (Required)
- API & Integration Development: Hands-on proficiency with REST API concepts, API testing/validation tools (e.g., Postman), and integration architecture sufficient to configure, test, and troubleshoot API-based solutions independently, not just present them (Required)
- Strategic Leadership: Ability to provide strategic direction in a leadership role (Required)
- Technical Presentations: Ability to create and deliver technical presentations (Required)
- At least 18 years of age

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $84,400 - $152,300, inclusive of target incentivesBase Pay Range: $59,080 - $106,610The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role.
