Save Report this job IRVING ISD CUSTODIAL BUILDING MANAGER-ELEMENTARY SCHOOL JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Custodial Building Manager – Elementary School Exemption Status: NonexemptReports To: Custodian Coordinator Funding Source: General FundDept/School: Operations Pay Grade: Facilities – 3Date Revised: June 2019Primary Purpose:Ensure building and grounds are cleaned by using routine procedures to maintain a high standard ofsafety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.Qualifications:Education/CertificationHigh School DiplomaGED Or 3-4 Years Of Experience RequiredSpecial Knowledge/SkillsAbility to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety proceduresAptitude for successful completion of tasksDemonstrated ability to coordinate personnel to accomplish tasksBroad knowledge of school housekeepingAbility to perform minor plumbing and electrical repairsAbility to operate and train in cleaning equipment and the proper use of cleaning suppliesAbility to speak and understand English and Spanish, preferredExperienceSix months custodial services experienceMajor Responsibilities And Duties:Cleaning and Maintaining Facilities Work cooperatively with principals and supervisors to ensure a high standard of safety, cleanliness, andefficiency of building operations. Daily coordinate and plan with the Custodian Night Lead to determine building needs. Daily clean offices, computer labs, library, and health clinic; ensure building perimeter is free of debris;stock and restore restroom supplies as needed; and perform upkeep and minor plumbing and carpentryrepairs.
