Our 99,500 employees operate a network of 2,500 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world. Job DescriptionOperation and management of the HSE/BC management systemImplementation and maintenance of SGS global HSE/Operational Integrity requirements at country levelDevelopment and maintenance of local HSE policies, procedures and instructionsContinuous monitoring of HSE performance, occasional site inspections, definition and reporting of KPIsSupporting management in setting HSE objectives and integrating them into operationsEnsuring legal and SGS complianceMonitoring and implementing relevant Hungarian and EU HSE legislationEnsuring compliance with SGS Group Policies and HSE Policy requirementsLiaising with authorities, coordinating audits and inspectionsIdentification, assessment and management of workplace risksDevelopment and implementation of risk mitigation measuresInvestigation of accidents and incidents, root cause analysis and implementation of preventive actionsDevelopment and delivery of HSE training programmes for all employees and subcontractorsIncreasing HSE awareness and developing safety cultureEnsuring leadership engagement (e.g. safety walks, leadership visits)Local implementation of SGS global Business Continuity frameworkDevelopment, maintenance and regular review of Business Continuity Plans (BCP)Identification and classification of critical processes and sitesEstablishment and operation of crisis management structureCoordination of response and recovery in case of disruptionOperation of internal audit programme (HSE + BC)Coordination of SGS global audits and self-assessmentsManagement of non-conformities and implementation of continuous improvement actionsRegular reporting of HSE and BC performance to local and regional managementLiaison with the global HSE/BC organizationEnsuring stakeholder communication (internal and external stakeholders)Cooperating with other HSE professionals regarding proper task allocation and sharing of responsibilitiesProfessional coordination and management of service contracts related to HSE, including contract renewalsConducting audits within Business Assurenace division.Liaise with Clients and perform documentation tasks of audits.Liaise with SGS affiliates in connection with certification.Performing other kind of tasks in connection with Auditor activities defined by Business Assurance Business Manager.Global Technical Governance „Safe Talk” instructions processing and cascade to all relevant personelPerforming other kind of tasks in connection with H&S activities defined by I&E Business Manager.Performing other kind of tasks in connection with NR Business Unit activities defined by NR Business Manager.QualificationsRelevant technical degree, with fire safety officer and occupational health and safety technician qualifications Minimum 4-5 years of experience in similar position.Knowledge of environmental records and declarations, experience in this field.English knowledge in written and spoken.Computer literacy at user levelDriving license category BAdditional InformationWhy SGS?Opportunity to work with a global leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Join Us: At SGS, we are dedicated to fostering an open, friendly, and supportive culture that thrives on teamwork.
