Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Hazard Identification in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. - Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
- Monitor entrances, exits, customer areas, and employee-only spaces to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior.
- Document patrol activity and incidents through clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and location management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
