Job Responsibilities
Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
Lead the decomposition of existing bespoke Java/Spring Boot Identity services into discrete, platform-consumable components with stable API contracts
Apply legacy modernization patterns (strangler fig, anti-corruption layer) to migrate services incrementally without disrupting in-flight products
Define and enforce API contracts for all services being migrated or retired — ensuring consuming teams are not broken during transition
Build and maintain the developer portal enabling line of business and product teams to discover, onboard to, and monitor platform services
Contribute to observability tooling — logging, tracing, and alerting across the platform to provide unified operational visibility
Partner with the platform Integration Engineer to ensure migrated services conform to platform integration adapter patterns
Improve application stability by identifying migration risks early and building automated validation into the migration pipeline
