- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter theft, trespassing, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
- Work closely with site leadership, store personnel, and/or local responders when needed to report concerns, support incident response, and follow post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
