The opportunity:
The Solution Architect is responsible for the design, integrity and quality of the SAP solutions and integrated applications delivered to Business. Responsible that the SAP solution/service provides the required functionality and meets the requirement of business. Collaborates with and contributes to project set-up and delivery as well as to service operations optimization. The Solution Architect is accountable for managing workstream interdependencies mainly but not restricted to the specific End-to-End Stream.
How you’ll make an impact:
Supports validation and prioritization of incoming business demand in collaboration with Project owners, business function and unit as well with the relevant functional consultants and third parties.
Be responsible for translating the functional design into functional specifications, review and sign off the functional and technical use case specifications.
Communicate the technical specifications to the developers.
Joining unit testing and support on UAT testing and defect resolution.
Formulate rules, principles and guidelines to guide the development of technical solutions.
Determine non-functional requirements and ensure service/ solution operation standards are considered accordingly.
Keeps knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging technology and industry practices, bringing learning into HE SAP CoE.
Collaborate with users in projects and problem management to maintain, develop and deploy the best feasible and most- cost efficient IS solutions/services for the business.
Collaborates with other streams to clarify cross-stream impact and support the development of an optimized solution from an end user perspective, in line with SAP standards.
Ensures solution documentation and training material are well maintained and created.
Consults, gives advice and supports the installation of new SAP solutions/services, or the changing of existing SAP solutions/services.
Consults the users to identify and learn about current procedures and to clarify further requirements.
Supports the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of all SAP processes related to the area of responsibility.
Provides functional guidance to SAP CoE technology team on implemented solutions and guidelines to operate User Story.
In collaboration with the BST/P&A Enterprise Architect ensures that solution/service-related standards are considered accordingly.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Master’s/bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer science (preferred) or related discipline
Minimum of 5+ years of experience within the Information Technology industry of solution architecture experience across various IT areas with focus in the areas of S/4 Hana system, particularly in a global Project environment
SAP Finance module and solutions available in SAP S4/HANA, such as: Finance GA, Asset Accounting (REFX is a plus), AP and integration with VIM, AR (including FSCM Credit, Dispute and Collection); Knowledge on S/4 Treasury/Banking with Business Connector /MBC, Knowledge of Tax determination (integration with Vertex is a plus), SAP/Fiori Workflows
Or SAP Controlling - Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, COPA (Account based and Cost based), Product Cost Planning, Material Ledger with Actual Costing; Understanding business processes: Make to Order, Make to Stock, Engineer to Order, Service Management. Mandatory skills - Material Ledger, Results Analysis, COPA, Cost object controlling - Make-to-order, Engineering-to-order.
Understanding integration with other modules: SD, PS, PP, Service Management, MM.
Strong knowledge of Management Accounting and reporting.
Nice to have skills - ABAP Debugging skills, FI-CO data migration experience, CDS views and Fiori apps, Certification in S/4 HANA, and/or other SAP Solutions.
Practical implementation experience with integration software/tools: BizTalk and/or MuleSoft.
International work experience in different countries/ cultures.
Proven experience implementing SAP best practices, especially for smooth transition for carving out a business division from current SAP landscape to a different one.
Fluent English language and good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with business and IT stakeholders.
