Reporting to the Sanitation Manager at our Louisville, KY facility, you will lead the 3rd shift sanitation and production team members, oversee sanitation activities and drive process improvements to ensure compliance with food safety standards. A Taste Of Your ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver, train, and monitor sanitation team processes and methods across the plantPlan and implement daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning and sanitation activitiesDevelop and maintain the Master Cleaning Schedule, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Plant Improvement Plan, and Environmental Swabbing Program in alignment with USDA regulationsPartner with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement of sanitation processesConduct plant inspections and audits, tracking corrective actions and ensuring timely resolutionReport food safety concerns to leadership and take immediate action when neededCoach team members and enforce plant rules, regulations, and proceduresEvaluate team performance, communicate expectations, and support employee developmentSupport compliance with regulatory and internal food safety standardsIngredients Required For Your SuccessBachelor’s degree; or HS Diploma/GED plus 2+ years related experience in a food manufacturing operations environment.Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety guidelinesBilingual Spanish/English preferredKnowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points plansFamiliarity with FDA and USDA regulationsUnderstanding of Clean In Place and Clean Out of Place systemsWet and Dry clean experience, as well as the 7 steps of SanitationWorking knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance principlesKnowledge of plant equipment, sanitation processes, and safety practicesUnderstanding of microbiology related to sanitation practices preferredKnowledge of manufacturing processes...
