This position will be located at Andersen Air Base, Guam.In this role, you will be responsible for…Key Responsibilities: Leads the daily operations of the aircraft team to include leading, managing, motivating, developing, and engaging a team of aircraft mechanics and technicians in a dynamic environmentOversees maintenance servicing, repairing and overhauling aircraft to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical conditionEnsures customer maintenance requirements are metSchedule maintenance and inspectionsRecommends procedure changes to improve maintainability of aircraft and timely inspectionsConsults manufacturers manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacementConducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operationsCoordinates with customer and support agencies on all constraints and risks affecting critical path milestonesDevelops, tracks, updates, and reports status of product/requirements for contracted work to program leadershipEstablishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies problems, and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resourcesCollaborate with local customers on routine and max level effort maintenance events and schedule changes to support aircraft maintenance operationsParticipates in maintenance meetings with the customer and provides maintenance status briefings at the customer’s requestWorks with functional and program leadership to ensure proper staffing and performance goalsMonitors, maintains and reports WBS cost initiatives monthlyOur Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. Finally, We pioneer: setting a vision that shapes the future and inspires others.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of military or civilian aircraft maintenance experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of military or civilian aircraft maintenance experience; OR a High school diploma/GED with 9 years of military or civilian aircraft maintenance experience2 years of leadership experienceMust demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skillsMust be able to travel up to 50% of the timeMust be able to travel to various locations for initial training for a minimum of 24 weeks prior to relocating to the permanent locationMust be able and willing to work on an aircraft flightline year round Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include alternate/second shifts, extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a yearMust have an active US Government Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs prior to startingPreferred Qualifications:  Active US Government Top Secret clearanceUSAF or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance Flightline Expeditor or Production Superintendent experienceKnowledge of USAF or equivalent...
