PAR is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join the team, with expertise spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. PAR is an international, fast-paced, high-growth environment, and our technology stack is cloud- and SaaS-first with minimal on-prem footprint. The Senior Salesforce Developer is a critical member of the team who helps maximize the value of the Salesforce platform by designing, building, and optimizing scalable solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud that support internal sales/service operations as well as customer and partner engagement. Working closely with Product Management, business stakeholders, Salesforce Administrators, QA, DevOps Engineers, and integration teams, you will contribute to solution design, custom development, and delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.
This role focuses on hands-on development across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring secure, high-performing, and well-architected solutions aligned with PAR's technology standards, security requirements, and compliance needs.
What We're Looking For:
Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, well-architected Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
Design and develop custom solutions using Apex (classes, triggers, batch/queueable/scheduled jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components
Build and enhance Experience Cloud sites using Experience Builder, LWC, Apex, and declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, page layouts)
Develop and extend Sales Cloud capabilities including opportunity management, forecasting, CPQ, and pipeline automation
Develop and extend Service Cloud capabilities including case management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Service Console, and self-service features
Design secure data visibility and sharing models across internal and external user populations
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware, and integration patterns
Write and maintain robust unit tests, ensure code coverage, and follow Salesforce development best practices
Manage the technical aspects of user access, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and access controls in coordination with Salesforce Administrators
Ensure development work complies with security, compliance, identity, and data governance standards
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes and optimizations
Perform code reviews, participate in architecture discussions, and enforce coding standards across the Salesforce team
Support and drive release management including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation
Analyze existing configurations/code and recommend improvements for usability, scalability, and performance
Support data management activities including migrations, imports, updates, and synchronization
Collaborate with QA to support test planning, deployment, and post-release validation
Participate in release planning, environment coordination, and post-release support
Evaluate new Salesforce features, APIs, and platform enhancements for business value
Promote reuse, automation, and engineering best practices across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud solutions
Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development standards

Must Have
Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience working with Salesforce, with strong hands-on development experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
Deep proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce data modeling
Experience developing and customizing Experience Cloud sites (portals, self-service, partner communities)
Experience building and extending Service Cloud features (Cases, Knowledge, Omni-Channel, self-service)
Experience developing Sales Cloud functionality (opportunities, forecasting, pipeline, automation)
Strong experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, Platform Events)
Strong experience with Salesforce security and access models for internal and external users (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing)
Experience working within a formal Salesforce Application Lifecycle Management environment (Dev / QA / UAT / Prod) with CI/CD and version control
Nice to Have
Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification; Application Architect or System Architect certification a plus
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model
Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), identity management, or authentication providers
Experience using Salesforce DevOps and deployment tools such as Gearset, Copado, or similar
Experience working in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment
Exposure to Commerce Cloud or cross-cloud integrations
Experience supporting systems during M&A or large-scale platform changes
