The Organisational Performance team (within the Performance Transformation practice) assists our clients in designing, activating and sustaining high-performing organisations so that they can achieve their strategic goals and deliver lasting business impact. Our approach combines rigorous organisation and operating model design with people-led transformation and change management, helping clients build the right structures, capabilities, behaviours and performance disciplines to succeed in complex transformation environments. Our core work is divided into 4 pillars:

Organisation & Operating Model Design: Support clients in designing target operating models, strategic organisational structures, accountabilities, roles and skills, location models and workforce plans that strengthen organisational health and enable future growth.

Organisational Efficiency: Help clients improve organisational cost, performance and transparency through efficiency diagnostics, cost and FTE benchmarking, spans and layers analysis, G&A cost reduction, finance and HR transformation, Global Business Services design and sustainable cost management.

Change Management and Transformation Success: Enable clients to deliver successful transformations through people-led change, transformation set-up, transformation office design, change effectiveness diagnostics, leadership engagement, communications strategies, workshops and activation programmes.

Culture, Behaviour and Change: Support clients in shaping the culture and behaviours required for transformation success, including culture assessments, behavioural change capabilities, leadership activation, leadership assessment, cultural integration and scaled engagement interventions.

Our team is seeking extraordinary individuals with deep expertise in organisation design, operating model transformation, efficiency improvement and people-led change to support our continued expansion in this high-growth area.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Experienced professionals bring us the know-how to make lasting change for our clients and our company. We position ourselves as a pure player in strategy consulting. We provide deep industry- and discipline-specific knowledge and expertise, which amplifies our impact and helps us shape the future for our clients. Oliver Wyman is a diverse, entrepreneurial, non-competitive partnership of individuals who like to pursue new opportunities or build a unique franchise doing what they do best in a collegial, fun environment.

ENGAGEMENT MANAGERS are the on-scene leaders who run our projects day to day. You will lead the team through an efficient and effective problem-solving process from initial thought process through convergence on a solution. You will ensure that recommendations are correct, practical, sensible, relevant and cohesive. It’s a role that demands thought leadership at the strategic level – and command of all the technical and operational details of execution. You will need great communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Just as every client project is different, so we recognize and value the diversity of backgrounds and skillsets for successful candidates. We are seeking high-caliber individuals who want to join our winning team. Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization) or with industry experience from a strategy department or inhouse consulting with a focus on organisational performance
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills and ability to conduct and leverage sophisticated analyses to identify trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
  • Fluency in English and German language is required
  • An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
  • Willingness to travel
  • Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you’ve already got to good use
  • Not just intelligence, but creativity too: you’ll be ready to come up with novel ideas to solve our clients’ biggest problems
  • Have an aptitude for analytical work, like sniffing out clues in massive data sets or hunting down the key issues in a hugely complex challenge
  • A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with our incredibly talented team
