Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace. The Requirements and Traceability Lead manages requirements engineering activities, ensuring full traceability from mission requirements through system implementation.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the PM and Chief Architect to manage government timelines and deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document requirements and existing processes. Develop requirements management environment and traceability processes to support informed architectural decisions. Establish and sustain an authoritative enterprise architecture baseline. Maintain requirements traceability matrices across systems and programs. Conduct technical exchanges with stakeholders to assess feasibility and identify best-fit integration approaches aligned to approved architecture. Ensure alignment between requirements and system capabilities. Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and leadership. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 12 years of experience in requirements engineering or systems engineering. Experience with requirements management tools. Active TS / SCI security clearance required Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting DoD enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or digital modernization initiatives. Hands-on experience with requirements management and traceability tools such as IBM DOORS, Jama, Jira, or Cameo. Familiarity with DoDAF, MBSE, systems integration, and requirements traceability across complex multi-system environments.
