The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND. ## Your Responsibilities As a Part Time Student, Engine Lab Support for JD Power Systems located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will: * Support Purchase Order requests for equipment needed for lab. * Help with design and procurement of test support hardware. * Product Verification & Validation: Support end of test part documentation, photographs, and visual inspection. This position is not available to students on immigration visas ## What Skills You Need * Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, ideally in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any additional technical and relevant degrees may apply * Comfortable with the majority of MS Office software. * Some experience with design CAD software. * Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year * Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester * Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university * Graduation date of Spring 2028 or later * Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above * Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa, on a daily basis year-round ## What Makes You Stand Out * Creo and/or SAP experience At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
