Our team of 700 colleagues from 60+ nations shares a passion for tech, an ambition for constant improvement, and a relentless drive to bring the best experience to more than 40k vacation rental hosts and 4 million annual guests.Your future teamYou'll join our Data Science team within the Business Intelligence department — a group of skilled, passionate data scientists who own Holidu's machine learning and advanced analytics use cases. We'll match you to one of the most impactful ML problem areas in the company — rankings and recommendations, price optimization, demand forecasting — where you'll embed in a cross-functional team and own the data science side end-to-end. You'll work with a large and rich dataset, fast paths from concept to production, and the autonomy to act on your own judgment.Holidu is an AI-first company, and it shows in how we work: your modelling stays grounded in machine learning and statistics, but you'll have large-scale access to the best AI tools and the freedom to weave them into everything you do — from discovery to implementation to maintenance. You will:Your role in this journeyDesign, build, and own the predictive models at the core of your problem area — and take them from first prototype to production.Run your models in production — experiment, monitor performance, and iterate to keep accuracy and impact high.Spot the next opportunity yourself — identifying where data science can move the business and making the case for it.Drive the discussions around model choice, assumptions, and trade-offs with your cross-functional team and stakeholders across the company — you own the technical calls in your area.Continuously fold AI into your workflow — finding ways to make your models, processes, and pipelines smarter and more efficient.Shape the team's ML strategy together with your fellow data scientists — sharing knowledge, establishing best practices, and deciding where our modelling should go next.Your backpack is filled withEnd-to-end experience as a Data Scientist, with a track record of applying data science to real business problems.A quantitative degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.Strong foundations in statistics, predictive modelling, and machine learning, with hands-on experience in Python and SQL.Hands-on experience with tree-based and gradient-boosting models (XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost) on large-scale tabular data.A proactive, self-starting mindset — you take charge of a topic, challenge your own assumptions, and see it through.Genuine enthusiasm for using AI in your daily work — you experiment, adopt what works, and help push the boundaries of its usage.Our adventure includesImpact: Shape the future of travel with products used by millions of guests and thousands of hosts.
