This position will operate out of Palmdale, CA.Job DescriptionSupports manufacturing processes by performing various tasks Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site Performs tasks under specific directions, including shipping and/or receiving, issuing materials, stocking racks, auditing toolboxes, and maintaining cleanliness and updates of toolkits/kits Conducts audits of materials and tools, and assists with tracking inventory in tool cribs Works with chemicals required for scope of work Opens containers using hand tools, counts, weighs, and records materials Loads and unloads materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines manually Loads or unloads materials into/from trucks by hand or using a forklift Conveys materials using wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices Stacks or assembles materials as needed Assists machine operators by lifting heavy objects manually or with a power hoistShift: 2nd shift position, 4/10 schedule Monday – Thursday (3:00pm – 01:30am) Opportunity for over-time.
