We are seeking a Sr. Research Data Analyst who will build complex data models and conduct complex data analysis in support of research projects, programs, and/or studies. The Sr. Research Data Analyst is responsible for coordination of data and data analysis activities across multiple studies.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop, manage, and maintain a database for study data for multiple studies.
* Develop standard operating procedures for initial data entry and data updates.
* Oversee quality control procedures for database and ongoing analysis.
* Develop data models.
* Conduct statistical analyses of data collected in this system to support empirical study.
* Build transmission models.
* Create and curate software tools across diverse programming languages in support of research efforts.
* Other duties as assigned.
In addition to the duties described above
* Wrangle and analyze Electronic Health Record data other real world data including health insurance claims.
* Use SQL, R and/or Python for statistical analysis.
* Apply best practices for real-world evidence principles, including bias, confounding, and study design considerations.
Minimum Qualifications
* Master's Degree in a related field.
* One year of related experience.
* Highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research.
* Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
* PhD in a related field.
* Strong proficiency in coding and data wrangling with SQL, R and/or Python for statistical analysis.
* Experience with econometrics techniques.
* Experience with health cost related data sets.
