We are seeking a dedicated Senior Estimator to join our team in Malaysia. The senior proposal Engineer report into the respective Estimating Team Lead and will be responsible for delivering assigned proposals in the field of PLC, DCS, SCADA, Renewables, Industrial security products etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of proposals – Technical and Price bids, on time for assigned proposals
- Develop proposal complete in all respects against the inquiry including technical compliance
- Response documentation, specify scope limits and prepare cost estimates.
- Support Bid Technical evaluation and customer presentations of proposed solutions.
- Understanding of Industrial security and renewable offerings.
- Support Technical discussions / meetings with customer
- Evaluate proposals from vendors for project buy-outs for technical compliance and completeness.
- Must work collaboratively with Line of Business / Sales / Consultant/Supply chain / Verticals to ensure delivering of quality proposal & solution.
- Provide inputs for continuous improvement of systems and processes to support accurate proposals and productivity
- Compile booking package for timely and accurate hand over to project execution team.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Engineering Degree
- 5-10 years of experience in Industrial Automation Solutions Systems
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Good knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA & Third-party interfaces to system.
- Ability to work in team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to deal effectively with deadlines.
- Experience with proposals and estimating within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Knowledge of Honeywell Estimating Tools will be added advantage.
- Exposure to Industrial security offerings will be added advantage.
