The Opportunity:
KBR is seeking an experienced Systems Integration & Test Lead to support a major Defence modernisation program delivering next-generation Command, Control, Communications and Information Systems (C4) capability for the Australian Defence Force.
Working within a complex system-of-systems environment, you will play a critical role in establishing and leading program-level integration and testing activities, supporting capability development, acquisition and delivery across one of Defence's most significant Land capability programs.

Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering activities associated with integration, verification and test capability development.
- Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation across the capability lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and engineering input into acquisition and delivery contracts.
- Support the development of Government submissions and technical decision-making activities.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to define user, system and operational requirements.
- Review and manage engineering changes in accordance with Defence engineering governance frameworks.
- Support Test & Evaluation activities, technical certification and acceptance processes.
- Provide systems engineering advice to ensure capability outcomes are delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with Defence standards.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Systems, ICT, Networking or related discipline).
- 5+ years' experience in Systems Engineering within complex Defence or Defence-industry environments.
- Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, design, integration, verification and acceptance.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large Defence acquisition or sustainment programs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Understanding of Defence engineering governance frameworks and acquisition processes.
- Must have Australian Citizenship & active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance.
Highly Desrible:
- Experience working with Land C4, communications, networking or ICT systems.
- Experience developing ASDEFCON (ENG) documentation.
- Experience within Integration, Test & Evaluation environments.
- Familiarity with Defence's One Defence Capability System (ODCS) and CASG engineering processes.
