The hourly rate for this position is $$23.50 per hour.
The hours for this position are Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm

## What you’ll do:
Eaton is currently seeking a Mechanical Assemblers (MO3). This position is based at our Airdrie, AB facility.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Production Manager, this position reviews and clarifies Material Information documents in order to mechanically assemble or make standard modifications to Structures, sub assemblies, and parts of the Jig and Tilt Table apparatus.

In this function you will:
• Assemble standard structures by building vertical bus as per drawings with standard and non-standard modifications, building a structure on the jig following job package with standard and minor modifications, assembling/installing horizontal bus as per the job package with standard and non-standard modifications.
• Perform standard modifications to Structures.
• Visually checking for flaws, completing the appropriate checklists and following standard procedures in work instructions or direction from senior assemblers to replace or repair defects ensuring a quality product is provided to our customers.
• Maintain the accuracy of the BOH inventory of stocked materials cycle counting identified stocked material, matching package labels to the actual material description and quantity, managing material transactions using the hand withdrawal process to prevent material shortages and contribute to corporate BOH inventory goals.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the internal KANBAN system.
• Partner with Marketing/MI to assist in the development of standard method sheets.
• Perform other duties as required.

## Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge/experience reading and interpreting blueprints/job drawing packages.
• Knowledge/experience with hand and power tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrates continuous learning through cross training, learning new skills, and refreshing prior skills.
• Reading, comprehension, and mathematical skills.
• Previous experience using a fork-lift.
