Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator / Programmer to support quality inspection processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precision and compliance with engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate CMM equipment using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create inspection routines
- Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process, and final inspections
- Analyze measurement data and generate detailed inspection reports
- Identify and report dimensional issues; collaborate with production and engineering teams on solutions
- Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance schedules for CMM equipment
- Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, and customer quality standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and production
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (technical degree or certification preferred)
- 2–3+ years of CMM programming and/or operating experience in manufacturing
- Proficiency with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and 3D CAD models
- Experience in metal fabrication, CNC machining, or precision manufacturing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment (noise, dust, temperature changes)
- Must follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
