Process Training Specialist
About the role:
Performs process related training to current and new associate level employees within the Distribution Center. This position will serve as their assigned area(s) Subject Matter Expert on SOPs needed to successfully perform Department functions in all matters related to Quality, Safety, and Security. This role will specifically support Operations through SOP training, on-the-job training, auditing, and employee orientation as required. Works directly with Operations Training Specialist to support the overall training strategy within the Distribution Center.
Process Training Specialist
$24.20/ Hourly
Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm - Must be willing to be flexible!
What you'll do:
Provides on-the-job training to new and existing employees on all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within assigned department(s). (75%)
Partners with the Logistics Center Quality & Continuous Improvement team to support Quality, Safety, and Security initiatives and recommend improvements. (10%)
Performs productivity-related tasks to support operational requirements. (5%)
Collaborates with the Operations Training Specialist, Industrial Engineers, Logistics Center Directors, Auditors, and Quality Manager to review new and existing SOPs and processes. (5%)
Assists in evaluating training program effectiveness through established measurement methods, including surveys and skills attainment assessments. (5%)

What we're looking for:
- Follows instructions, requests clarification when needed, and uses common office equipment.
- Demonstrates clerical, data entry, and basic mathematical skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.

- Safely transports up to 60 lbs.
- Quickly learns new systems and technology and uses relevant computer applications at an intermediate level.
Experience:
3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience preferred.
Demonstrates ability to meet quality and production standards
Knowledge and experience with Outlook, Excel and Word.
Must be comfortable being a daily computer user. This experience is a requirement.
Education & Certifications:
Associate degree preferred.
High School Graduate required.
Working Conditions:
Distribution center environment may include: exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions
Classroom environment.
Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
Professional, office environment.
