Reporting to the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at our Council Bluffs, Iowa manufacturing facility, local producers of Marie Callendar, Healthy Choice, Birds Eye and more. you will support the plant’s Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability programs by integrating safety and environmental practices into daily operations. You will manage plant-level projects, training, and compliance programs while partnering with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with team members and subject matter experts to design and implement plant-specific environment, health, and safety programsSupport project planning and execution for environment, health, and safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with plant goalsAssist with the development and rollout of standardized safety programs tailored to plant operationsCoordinate internal environment, health, and safety audits, including scheduling, reporting, and tracking corrective actions to completionSupport emergency preparedness programs, including evacuation drills and severe weather response plansDevelop and deliver environment, health, and safety training for plant personnelMaintain and report safety and environmental performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to plant leadershipServe as a resource for continuous improvement in safety culture and regulatory complianceIngredients Required for Your SuccessBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field2 to 4 years of experience in project management or environment, health, and safety roles within a manufacturing or industrial settingExperience presenting training materials and...
