The opportunity

We are looking for you as Software Engineer for Network Control Power Applications for the Grid Automation division at the Mannheim site as soon as possible. Implement innovative system solutions for our Network Control customers in cooperation with an international team.

The position is particularly suitable for experts who already have at least 2 years of experience in the field of complex Network Control systems or network planning/calculation.

How you’ll make an impact

  • You independently handle Network Control projects, with special consideration of the energy technology aspects and the rules of the energy market

  • You define technical requirements and coordinate internal and external partners

  • You implement customer requirements precisely in technical solution concepts

  • You carry out commissioning and acceptance with the customer

  • You instruct customers on the installed systems

  • You support the sales department in finding solutions and preparing offers

Your background

  • Successfully completed master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or comparable technical understanding of solutions, IT systems and Network Control products as well as network calculation applications

  • Independent and proactive way of working as well as willingness to take responsibility

  • Communication skills combined with high customer orientation

  • German and English fluently spoken and written; French is an advantage

  • Interest in international cooperation and willingness to travel worldwide

  • General willingness for temporary assignments in our global partner units (e.g. in the context of a time-limited exchange of up to half a year) desired
