At Northrop Grumman, you will have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career. We are looking for you to join our team as a Test Engineer based out of the Annapolis Junction / Hanover MD area.What You'll Get to Do:Roles and Responsibilities:  Execute contractor testing against an offensive cyber platform within a customer’s environment.Develop and execute test plans and procedures using testing tools to ensure all acceptance criteria are met and the software quality conforms to established policy and standards.Work in a team environment utilizing Agile processes to automate test cases and procedures for functional and non-functional domains, solving the most complex escalated issues.Troubleshoot issues found during testing and relay to Field Service Engineers for resolution.Participate in agile ceremonies and interface with the agile team(s) and other program staff as required.Improve our continuous delivery pipeline, ensuring that we can roll out frequent, robust releases.   This position requires full time work onsite at our Annapolis Junction, MD location AND/OR Hanover, MD customer location.Basic Qualifications for Associate SW  Test Engineer:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an accredited university with 2 years of experience.Must have a current, active DoD Top Secret Clearance. Must be eligible for SCI clearance. (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Experience writing Python scripts.Experience working System Test, SW Development and/or Systems Engineering.Familiarity with CI/CD principles.Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems & Virtual Machines (VMs).Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)Preferred Qualifications for Associate SW Test Engineer:Familiarity with testing principles, best practices and procedures.Active TS/SCI ClearanceWhat We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
