This individual will bring a strong combination of strategic thinking, storytelling, and operational excellence to deliver measurable business impact.The ideal candidate is comfortable influencing without authority, shaping direction, and diving deep into execution when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & VisionDefine and shape the forward-looking vision and strategy for digital acquisitions, incorporating emerging capabilities such as AI, personalization, and automationIdentify opportunities to transform acquisition journeys and unlock new sources of customer growthTranslate strategy into a clear, prioritized product roadmapStorytelling & InfluenceDevelop clear, compelling narratives that articulate the value of acquisitions initiatives to senior leaders and cross-functional partnersPresent product features and strategies with the right balance of detail for senior product/technology audiences and clarity for non-technical stakeholdersInfluence decision-making across Product, Marketing, Risk, Technology, and OperationsExecution & Product DeliveryDrive execution of key acquisition initiatives, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of featuresPartner closely with engineering and scrum teams to guide effective Agile executionDemonstrate strong proficiency in Jira (or similar Agile tools) to manage backlogs, track progress, and ensure transparency across teamsMaintain strong ownership of delivery outcomes and step in to resolve critical issues, including production incidents, when necessaryProduct Leadership & Team EnablementProvide guidance and informal leadership to junior product managers, helping them effectively manage backlogs, run scrum ceremonies, and deliver valueShare best practices to strengthen overall product management discipline and execution quality across the teamStakeholder & Partner ManagementBuild and manage relationships with key business stakeholders and partner teamsDrive alignment across cross-functional teams and manage competing prioritiesMake informed trade-off decisions that balance customer experience, business value, and technical feasibilityData, Metrics & Performance ManagementDefine and monitor key acquisition KPIs (e.g., funnel conversion, application completion, approval rates, customer growth)Use data and insights to continuously optimize performance and inform product decisionsMaintain strong focus on measurement, experimentation, and outcomesRisk, Controls & Operational ExcellenceDemonstrate a strong understanding of risk, controls, and operational resilienceEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and Citi’s control frameworkProactively identify and mitigate risks, particularly in technology implementationsExercise sound judgment on when to escalate or intervene, especially in high-impact or production scenariosQualifications6–10 years of experience in digital product management, acquisitions, growth, or related rolesProven ability to define product strategy and drive executionStrong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across audiencesExperience working in cross-functional environments without direct authoritySolid understanding of Agile...
