Founded in 2023, we’re based in Bergen (Norway) and Barcelona (Spain), and backed by some of the world’s most ambitious investors.What you’ll do:Develop theoretical models of laser cooling and manipulation of beams of metastable atoms.Work on general physics problems related to the production of cold intense beams of neutral atoms.Develop numerical models to validate theoretical models with an emphasis on realistic engineering constraints.Produce simulation tools to be used by other teams.Collaborate across teams on theoretical, simulation, and experimental projects.Produce and maintain high quality documentation and code, as well as review documentation and code written by colleagues.Mentor junior members of the teamWho you are:An expert AMO physicist that thrives in a collaborative fast paced environment working on complex, interconnected, and evolving problems.
