Description
The Content Operations Specialist is responsible for building, managing, and maintaining digital content across web and email channels using enterprise platforms, including Sitecore and Salesforce. This role focuses on the technical execution of content operations, ensuring structured content is accurately implemented, versioned, and deployed within Sitecore, and that email content and campaigns are built, tested, and supported within Salesforce platforms.
The Content Operations Specialist partners closely with product managers, designers, developers, and marketing teams to translate content requirements into scalable, platform-ready implementations. This role also supports platform administration tasks, content governance, and quality assurance to ensure content systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with business and customer experience standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Content execution & publishing
Build, update, and maintain digital content across web and email channels using Sitecore and Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
Implement content using templates and pre-built and custom components based on designs, copy decks, or direction from project managers and stakeholders.
Execute end-to-end publishing workflows, including content entry, versioning, scheduling, and deployment in accordance with designs, requirements, and accessibility.
Perform content quality assurance and pre-publish validation to ensure content meets functional, accessibility, and design requirements
2. Platform Operations:
Provide administrative support, including managing user access requests and maintaining templates and components.
Assist with testing, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
Follow and contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices, for content operations.
Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and content partners to implement content requirements and resolve execution issues.
3. Process automation and efficiency: Research and propose opportunities to reduce effort and increase quality and consistency via automation and AI.
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant related work experience
- 2+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of content management systems, including use of templates, components, and workflows
- Knowledge of email or marketing automation platforms, supporting content creation, deployment, and maintenance
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient to build, edit, and troubleshoot digital content within CMS and email platforms
Working knowledge of AI tools – e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code).
- Skill in executing content updates and publishing tasks accurately within standards and requirements
- Skill in quality assurance and validation of digital content for accuracy, functionality, accessibility, and compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, engineering, and content partners
Ability to follow defined processes, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately
