We're looking for a Head of Brand to shape our positioning as the company evolves and build a content function capable of shipping some of the most exciting work in SaaS and AI.
You'll lead and scale our Visual Design, Video Production, and Content teams, building them into a high-velocity creative engine — one that produces some of the most exciting, authoritative, narrative-driven content in the space. You'll act as the strategic architect of our positioning while staying hands-on and execution-focused: equally comfortable shaping the narrative and building out a production pipeline.
What you'll own
- Own and evolve our global positioning: continuously sharpen Make's brand narrative as the market shifts due to AI, positioning us not just as an integration tool but as the foundational "Glass Box" platform for enterprise AI orchestration.
- Drive attention-owning, exciting mid-market content: translate a technical product into compelling narratives that resonate with mid-market buyers and AI budget holders, and raise the bar on our overall output.
- Orchestrate multi-format campaigns: oversee end-to-end production across brand campaigns, technical LLM and AI-agent deep dives, thought leadership, and high-production-value video.
- Lead the creative studio: give strong, fast-paced leadership to the Visual Design, Video, and Content teams — hire well, coach, and build a team that can move quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Collaborate across the flywheel: partner closely with Acquisition, Product Marketing and Community & Social Media so our narrative is fueled by real user stories and distributed with real reach.
- Cross-functional partnership: work closely with the VP of Marketing & Ecosystem and the wider go-to-market team to keep brand and content aligned with business priorities.
What you bring
- 5+ years leading brand, creative, or content teams in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment — ideally with exposure to mid-market or enterprise segments.
- A strategic thinker who executes: you can move from shaping an executive point-of-view piece to reviewing a design system to unblocking a video production pipeline in the same day. Strong bias for action and ownership.
- Ownership of commercial outcomes: you set clear metrics for brand and content (pipeline influence, engagement, conversion, share of voice), track them rigorously, and use them to justify what to double down on and what to cut.
- Real AI fluency: you understand how LLMs and agentic workflows are changing how businesses operate, and you can translate that into content that lands — not just buzzwords.
- A solution-oriented, structured leader who keeps projects moving: you help your team clear bottlenecks, hold clear deadlines, and maintain a high bar for craft.
- A direct, transparent communication style — you give your team clear feedback and expect the same in return.
- You feel comfortable driving adoption, experimentation and innovation in the use of AI tools
- Genuine interest in automation and how Make actually works — you'll get hands-on with the product itself, because you can't market what you don't understand.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Nice to have
- Experience building or repositioning a brand through a category shift (e.g., a product or market disrupted by AI).
- Experience in automation, integration, workflow, or developer-adjacent SaaS.
- A portfolio of video or content work showcasing a multi-channel campaign you're genuinely proud of.
