As Station Manager, you're the captain of your ship. You'll own the day-to-day operations of the Miami station — leading your team, keeping the fleet in top shape, and making sure every customer drives away as a happy roadsurfer. You'll also be someone who thrives on data: tracking quality scores, analyzing what's working, and making smart, cost-conscious decisions to keep the station performing at its best.Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Station & Operations ManagementAutonomously lead and establish station operations, collaborating closely with headquarters to manage day-to-day activities on-site.Implement existing standards and processes while contributing your own ideas to improve vehicle returns, handovers, and preparation.Maintain constant communication with international teams to ensure ongoing optimization across all roadsurfer locations.Performance & Quality ManagementOwn your station's Service Quality Score (SQS) — roadsurfer's core KPI that measures customer experience through post-rental surveys.Monitor and act on the two pillars of SQS: Fleet Care Quality (van cleanliness and technical condition) and Customer Care Quality (staff friendliness and pickup wait times).Analyze performance data and trends to identify gaps and implement strategies to get — and stay — above target.Team Leadership & Workforce PlanningMotivate and guide your on-site team, including onboarding, task planning, and quality control.Manage a team structure with both Core Team members (year-round) and a Flex Team (seasonal) brought on during peak season to support high-demand periods.Build staffing plans that balance full operational coverage with cost efficiency and service quality — you'll need to think like both a people leader and a budget owner.Source and recruit the right talent to build and maintain a high-performing station team.Fleet ManagementOversee the local vehicle fleet for rental: documentation, maintenance, cleanliness, and coordination with local service partners.Ensure every van leaving the lot meets roadsurfer's standards — because the fleet is the product.Customer ServiceAdvise customers on our campers and deliver a friendly, efficient check-in and check-out experience.Send every customer out as a happy roadsurfer — ready to surf the roads of the USA.During non peak seasons, Station Managers and stations team may be utilized to support roadsurfer Customer Success Team with on road support via calls or emails. 🏄 🌊 What you need to surf the wave with us 🏄 🌊 You embrace our Core Values: Free Hugs - We’re open, optimistic, and always have each other’s best interest in mind.Customer At Heart -We put our customers at the heart of everything we do.Fully Hands On - We’re pragmatic and get the right things done.Trustety - We trust each other and speak openly and honestly.Own Your Ship - We take responsibility and strive for excellence.High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in business administration or similar is strongly desired.At least 3+ years of relevant experience in a managerial role — car rental, tourism, or hospitality preferred.A...
