As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the timely execution of third-party risk assessments, data gathering, initial risk scoring, and remediation tracking. Your efforts will directly support our mission to identify, document, and escalate risks across Checkout’s vendor base.ResponsibilitiesCore Risk Assessment Execution: Carry out and support initial and ongoing risk assessments for third-party vendors, focusing on data validation, completeness checks, and detailed documentation in the TPRM system.Domain Knowledge Application: Utilize a foundational knowledge of control risks in areas such as Information Security, Data Privacy, and Business Continuity Management (BCM) to review and triage vendor documentation.Screening and Triage: Use specialized tools to perform routine sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media screenings on vendors, promptly escalating potential matches to Senior Associates or Managers.Report Drafting Support: Assist in reviewing documentation, extracting key control gaps, and drafting relevant sections of assessment reports.Documentation and Escalation: Accurately identify and document control deficiencies, escalating emerging issues to Senior Associates or the Team Lead in a timely manner.Remediation Tracking: Monitor and track third-party remediation efforts, proactively engaging with suppliers and internal Business Owners to ensure closure deadlines are met.Tool Proficiency: Maintain proficient use of TPRM assessment platforms, GRC tools, and sanctions screening tools, ensuring high accuracy of system data.Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal Business Owners, clearly communicating assessment findings and necessary actions.Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed of relevant global regulations and industry best practices (e.g., EBA Outsourcing Guidelines, DORA, FCA) to ensure compliant risk assessments.Program Improvement: Suggest and contribute to continuous workflow improvements within the TPRM program.QualificationsExperience: 3+ years in risk management, audit, compliance, or similar roles, preferably in a regulated financial services environment.Reporting Skills: Strong ability to write clear, concise documents (e.g., findings summaries, status updates) and/or assist with formal risk assessment reports.Tool Experience: Hands-on experience with GRC tools, third-party risk assessment platforms, or similar compliance management software.Domain Knowledge: Foundational understanding of third-party risk management principles and frameworks.Core Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.Work Environment: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to align working hours to support the UK time zone.Additional...
