The physician will mainly be in the Main OR and backing up the CRNA as needed in OB.Founded in 1836, Piedmont Columbus Regional is a leading healthcare provider in west Georgia, serving the Columbus, Ga. area with a network of health and medical services through its two hospital campuses.Qualifications:Board certified/eligible in anesthesia.Authorization to work in the United States.New residents are welcome to apply.Scheduling:Full-time position:We offer various flexible scheduling options.Our day physicians will split a mixture of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts.Monday–Friday schedule with 12-hour weekend day shifts once per month.No call.Part-time position:This will be a set schedule rotation with another local .5 physician who is already on site. The schedule is split evenly between the two physicians and alternates each month for equity.You would only work one weekend every 8 weeks – (12-hour shifts)This unique schedule will also give you five Fridays off at a time.13 weeks off annually.No call and no nights.Key Responsibilities:Manage level II trauma patients, OB/GYN, pediatrics, neuro, orthopedic, and general.Living and Working in ColumbusLocated on the Georgia/Alabama border, Columbus offers a big city with a small-town feel.
