In order to drive our next phase of growth in Cellular, Compute, AI, and Modem Technologies, we are expanding the Product Engineering organization.Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited toValidation and debug of new siliconATE HW/SW developmentCharacterization of device performance over process and operating conditionsCross functional engineering collaboration to develop test methodologies for advanced packaging technologiesReleasing cost effective production test solutions into mass productionAll Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity in their teams, and in the Company.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or related fieldExperience working with common test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers)3+ years’ Experience with silicon bring-up and high-volume manufacturing, Hardware Engineering experience or related work experiencePreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in computer engineering and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Electronics Eng or related fieldExperience with ATE test platforms, Advantest 93K SOC test systems, design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests such as Scan/ATPG, JTAG, and memory BIST, testing CPUsExperience with silicon bring-up and high-volume manufacturingExperience with testing Advanced package technologiesC/C++, Perl, JMPKnowledge of VLSI design, semiconductor device physics along with computer processor systems, CMOS, Analog, and Mixed Signal circuits such as ADC, DAC, PLL, Codecs and their performance measurementsStrong analytical/problem solving skillsAbility to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be passionate about delivering quality workEducational RequirementsRequired: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or related fieldPreferred: Master’s degree in computer engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or related field
