How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Branch Care Coordinator at Lakeland Respiratory plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and compassionate delivery of home healthcare services. This position involves coordinating patient care, managing administrative tasks, and acting as a central point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals within a specific branch.
  • *Coordinate and schedule patient care services, including equipment delivery, installations, and follow-up visits.

  • Process and manage patient referrals, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide information, address concerns, and facilitate a positive care experience.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff, sales representatives, and other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical information, equipment usage, and service history.

  • Manage inventory of medical equipment and supplies at the branch level, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.

  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes, including verifying insurance coverage and processing payments.

  • Resolve patient complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex cases to appropriate management.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Are you a MATCH?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college diploma in a related field (e.g., Medical Office Administration, Healthcare Management) is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare coordination or administrative role, preferably in a home healthcare setting.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a compassionate and professional demeanor.

  • Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and healthcare management systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry regulations is an asset.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required depending on branch needs.
