Role Summary
The Technology Lead – Labeling & Conveyor Systems is responsible for the technical leadership of all labeling equipment, product transfer systems, and conveyor technologies. This position ensures robust, standardized, highly reliable manufacturing systems that maximize production efficiency while creating intuitive, operator-friendly equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own the technology roadmap for labeling and product transfer systems.
  • Define engineering standards and equipment specifications.
  • Lead initiatives to improve OEE, reliability, and system performance.
  • Design systems that simplify operation and maintenance while reducing operational losses.
  • Standardize conveyor layouts, controls, sensors, labeling technologies, and spare parts.
  • Lead troubleshooting and permanent corrective actions for recurring failures.
  • Support capital projects and equipment modernization.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Automation, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and OEM partners.
  • Develop predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Coach engineering and maintenance teams on technology best practices.

  • Serve as the site's technical authority in labeling and conveyor systems.
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and technical development.
  • Build engineering standards that can be replicated across manufacturing assets.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years experience with industrial labeling systems, conveyors, product handling, sensors, vision systems, and industrial controls.
  • Proven record improving manufacturing performance through engineering solutions.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Reliability Engineering, and OEE improvement.
