What Does A Typical Day Look Like?

For a typical kick off you can expect our call time to be 5 to 6 hours prior to the start of the match. Throughout the day you will be faced with several hard deadlines in which you will have to meet in order for the service to run effectively and efficiently.

Your day will generally span three main phases:

  1. Pre-Match Calibration & Tech Setup: Spend the first part of your day testing communications, calibrating equipment, and optimising the setup. You will ensure the entire system is fully prepped and ready 2 hours prior to kick-off for the match officials to test its integrity.

  2. The Warm-Up Phase: Utilise the teams' warm-up period as your final opportunity to conduct thorough live checks, ensuring the system and all comms are 100% functional before going live.

  3. Live Match Operations: Monitor the system and communications in real-time throughout the live match, ensuring seamless connectivity, high efficiency, and instant troubleshooting if any issues arise.

What Challenges Might I Face?

While this role offers a unique entry point into sports technology, it comes with specific operational demands. Please consider these factors before submitting your application:
