Skip to main contentHomeProfileJob SearchApplicationsMy EventsJoin Talent NetworkSign InSingle PositionView All JobsManager Programs 1United States-Florida-Melbourne No longer accepting applications.Job IDR10240503Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an exciting opening in the Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) business unit as Program Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our onsite in Melbourne, Florida.Roles and responsibilities of the Program Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:Reports to the E-2D Production Program Manager role executing a multiple elements of production integrationResponsible and accountable for leading execution of contract scope, through diligent management of cost, schedule, and riskLeads multifunctional teams in the establishment and execution of milestones tied to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutionsLeads multifunctional teams in the review and approval of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contractsInterfaces with Supplier Program counterparts to drive execution of the work scopePossesses knowledge of aircraft electronic systemsPossesses an in-depth understanding of business unit financial objective mechanics and Program Management process and strategies for achieving financial objectivesOur Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. Finally, We pioneer: setting a vision that shapes the future and inspires others.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 6 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 5 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 4 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 3 years) of related experience as defined below.Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluationAbility to obtain U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance level with SCI access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.Prior experience managing suppliers and / or major subcontractors on development programsPrior experience coordinating cross-functional teamsExperience with Risk & Opportunity ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge and experience in production environmentSMT experienceDegree in a technical disciplinePrior experience with E-2 programsPrior experience in managing Navy contractsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage at the senior management level
