Your JobAs a Facilities Engineer (Mechanical), you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of critical mechanical utility systems that support manufacturing operations. This role focuses on facility maintenance, system optimisation, infrastructure projects, contractor management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment uptime and operational efficiency.Our TeamYou will be part of the Facilities Engineering team, supporting the operation and maintenance of critical plant utilities and building infrastructure. Working closely with production, EHS, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders, the team is responsible for maintaining safe, reliable, and compliant facility systems while driving continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives across the site.What You Will DoLead the daily operation, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities for critical mechanical utility systems, including CDA, HVAC, chillers, vacuum, exhaust, and fire protection systems.Monitor and analyse system parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, and air quality through SCADA/BMS platforms and field inspections to ensure operational stability and reliability.Conduct capacity assessments and system optimisation initiatives to improve equipment performance, enhance reliability, and minimise downtime.Review, update, and maintain P&ID drawings, equipment records, maintenance procedures, and facility documentation.Oversee the operation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems, including Fire Alarm, Fire Pump, Sprinkler, and Fire Hydrant systems, ensuring compliance with BOMBA, MS 1910, and NFPA standards.Coordinate fire drills and support emergency response activities involving facility systems and infrastructure.Drive the timely resolution of audit findings and maintain valid certifications and statutory compliance requirements for fire protection systems.Monitor and maintain CDA system performance to ensure air quality compliance with applicable ISO standards for manufacturing operations.Perform leak audits and implement continuous improvement projects to reduce compressed air losses and improve energy efficiency.Coordinate maintenance and servicing activities for air compressors, dryers, filters, and condensate drainage systems.Plan, design, and execute facility improvement projects, including system upgrades, new equipment installations, utility expansions, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives.Prepare technical specifications, evaluate contractor proposals, and ensure project designs comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through commissioning and handover.Supervise external contractors and service providers performing maintenance, calibration, testing, and installation activities.Conduct vendor evaluations and performance reviews while ensuring all contracted work is completed safely and in accordance with established procedures.Verify service reports, replacement parts, maintenance records, and project documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.Monitor utility consumption trends and support site-wide energy management initiatives under the ISO 50001 framework.Conduct efficiency assessments on compressor, chiller, and HVAC systems to...
