Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret complex data and support credit risk assessmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French and Arabic, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholdersFundamental understanding of fixed income markets or creditProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferredHigh attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive team player with a continuous learning mindset, including interest in financial markets, data analytics, and AI-driven toolsExperience with Python, SQL, or financial modelling concepts preferredBasic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical useEducation
Strong academic background, equivalent to a Master’s degree (MSc or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related disciplineCFA professional qualification such as CFA highly beneficialResponsibilities
Support credit rating analysis through financial modelling, research, and collaboration with analysts to evaluate credit risk.Support Credit Rating Analysts in assigning and monitoring credit ratings across corporates, structured finance, and sovereignsAnalyse financial statements, perform financial modelling, and develop forecasts to assess credit riskPrepare rating committee materials and actively contribute to rating committee discussionsDraft credit research reports and support publication of analytical insightsMonitor market trends, economic developments, and industry news to assess credit qualityLeverage digital tools and AI-driven technologies to enhance efficiency and analytical outputAssist with investor and issuer engagement by preparing presentations and supporting...
