Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Fabricator Operator (2nd Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $18.40 + $1.50 Shift Differential per hour.
CORE HOURS: 3:45PM - 2:15AM

## What you’ll do:
MCCs - fabricate and/or modify copper or aluminum bus, and modify or add cutouts to doors and covers. Work with and maintain the area schedule, making modifications if necessary, to maintain a constant and orderly flow of work.
* Work from oral and/or written instructions coming from supervisors and/or prints, sketches and manufacturing information sheets.
* Ability to interface with personal work station computer to pull blue prints, review job orders in DMM system, comp in/out completed orders in DMM
* Utilize manufacturing information sheets, determine necessary parts, write requisitions and work with Kan Ban attendant to obtain materials from stock areas.
* Operate fabricating equipment such as FMS, press brake, shear, punch, bender, and nibbler to make or modify all types of bus connectors, risers, taps, mains, etc.
* Ability to work and operate multiple workstations in workflow cell, e.g. include but not limited to: FMS/FINN, Press brake and spot welders to meet expected takt time or daily demand rate of work cell
* Fabricate and/or modify and assemble braces, spacers, barriers, and supports for copper or aluminum as required.
* Utilize electric trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, ergo lifts and cranes to move material and product as required
* Assemble, tape, or sleeve if required or necessary.
* Set up and operate nibbler/punch press to modify or add cutouts and holes to doors, covers, etc.
* Use hand tools to debur and finish pieces as required.
* Clean and lubricate equipment, clear slugs and check punches as necessary.
* Maintain records as required-e.g. include production control boards, hour by hour charts, 5S checklist, TPM sheets. This includes maintaining a library of reference sketches and feeding this information to engineers and the area supervisor to correct, update, or make standardized drawings.
* Monitor area supply bins to insure adequate hardware and parts supply, and to alert the area supervisor or designated person if there is a pending problem.
* Contact Engineering Dept. when an engineering problem arises, as directed by area supervisor.
* Coordinate efforts with storeroom personnel.
* Determine the quality of work by reporting problems to the Area Supervisor or Quality Control personnel. Maintain a piece count and associated records where applicable.
* Wear all safety equipment and observe all hygiene requirements as specified and directed.
* Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner. Maintain daily 5S standards in work area or zone.
* Review material list to determine if bus is in stock or must be made.
