The Opportunity:

You will join to the TT&L (Transport, Trade & Logistics) department, which is a global organization with clear end-to-end responsibility. We are the logistics experts; our role is to ensure the best-in-class logistics setup for their in- and outbound flows across all modes of transport for our businesses. 

As a Logistics Operations Specialist you will coordinate outbound & inbound from UE suppliers to factory located in Sweden. Main role is to ensure a high level of service and cost-effective movement of goods for LBU, focusing on real time communication of service issues with shippers and receivers.  You will work in fast paced environment and make decisions to meet changing demands of transport requests.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Collaborate effectively with freight forwarders and transport providers to secure timely and reliable logistics services.
  • Maintain continuous communication with transport partners to place orders, obtain confirmations, track key shipment milestones, and collect required documentation (POD, invoices).
  • Plan, schedule, and optimize deliveries across Air, Ocean, and Road transport modes to ensure efficient supply chain flow.
  • Oversee transport orders, monitor driver performance, and ensure high service quality toward internal and external customers.
  • Calculate endtoend transportation lead times and assess transport costs in alignment with contracted rates.
  • Initiate and drive actions aimed at achieving transport cost savings and meeting defined financial targets.
  • Analyze and justify cost overruns with clear, databased explanations when deviations occur.
  • Review and approve freight invoices as part of the freight settlement process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Apply strong knowledge of the local transport market, including equipment types, port and airport operations, and relevant regulatory constraints.
  • Actively participate in local and global project implementations while identifying opportunities for logisticsprocess improvements and supporting ERP system enhancements.

Your Background:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or a related field preferred.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with confidence in daily communication.
  • Highly organized, structured, and systematic approach to work.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with a high sense of ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid problemsolving skills with the ability to act proactively.
  • Experience with advanced Transportation Management Systems (preferably SAP TM) and knowledge of transport rules and regulations across road, air, and ocean modes is an advantage.
