Component Master Data Administrator / IT Assistant

Your department 

The Central Data & Analytics department provides Data Analytics products and services to the entire Vanderlande Organization. It is a franchise organization, meaning that we centrally set a standard, which is adopted and implemented by decentralized franchises within the business.​ 

The core product we work on is the Vanderlande Data Platform, on which we provide Data Products for our customers to leverage. By transforming, processing, combining and enriching data available in source systems we provide a valuable source of truth, a clear way of working and a community of experts.​ We work SAFE Agile.

The Master Data Management (MDM) department is responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, and governance of master data across the organization. By managing and governing key data objects, the team enables efficient business processes, supports reliable analytics, and ensures compliance with company standards and policies. The department acts as a central link between business domains and IT systems, providing standardized processes and support for continuous data quality improvement. Your Responsibilities
  • In this role, you are responsible for maintaining, validating, and supporting component master data within Vanderlande systems, ensuring high data quality, compliance, and operational continuity.

  • You act as a key operational link between business users, engineering (PDM/Enovia), and IT systems, supporting the full lifecycle of component master data.

  • You ensure that all master data requests are validated, approved, and processed in line with governance standards and policies.

  • You contribute to continuous improvement of data quality processes and support the data quality framework used for monitoring and control.

Key Activities
  • You create, update, merge, and phase out component master data in relevant systems such as Enovia and ERP environments.

  • You validate incoming requests and perform final quality checks to guarantee data integrity and compliance.

  • You provide second-line support for master data issues and handle service requests via ticketing systems such as Topdesk.

  • You support root cause analysis of recurring data issues and contribute to data cleansing activities.

  • You collaborate closely with engineering, application management and data governance stakeholders to ensure consistent and reliable data.

  • You assist in team coordination activities such as backlog support, capacity planning, and maintaining documentation and guidelines.

Your Profile
  • Education in (mecahanical, electrical or automobile) Engineering, or proven equivalent experience

  • Fluent in English 

  • 2+  years of experience in data management, master data, or IT support roles

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Experience with master data management principles and data quality concepts

  • Familiarity with tools such as Enovia, ERP systems, and ticketing systems (e.g., Topdesk)

  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and supporting business users
