Technical QA LeadAbout your role:
You will lead quality assurance strategy and test execution for complex technology initiatives across web, application programming interface (API) and database-based solutions. Partner with development, product, and cross-functional teams to define test approaches, improve release quality, and strengthen testing practices. This role matters by helping teams deliver stable, secure, and high-quality solutions through structured test leadership and continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
- Create and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and testing timelines for projects and releases.
- Define test scope, testing objectives, entry and exit criteria, and quality checkpoints across functional, performance, security, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Lead testing activities across web, API, desktop, and database-based applications in on-premise and cloud-based test environments.
- Oversee defect identification, triage, tracking, resolution validation, and reporting throughout the defect lifecycle.
- Coordinate quality assurance resource planning, including test assignments, tooling usage, and execution priorities to support efficient delivery.
- Partner with development, product management, business, and release stakeholders to address quality risks and support smooth release cycles.
- Translate business, user, and system requirements into test scenarios, test cases, and automated or manual test scripts.
- Drive continuous improvement in team standards, test planning, automation adoption, metric collection, reporting, debugging support, and test execution practices.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test lead work, or test management across enterprise technology environments.
- 6+ years of experience testing web, application programming interface (API), desktop, and database-based applications.
- 6+ years of experience creating test strategies, test plans, test cases, and defect reporting for functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
- 6+ years of experience executing testing in on-premise and cloud-based environments and supporting end-to-end release validation.
- 6+ years of experience using test management, defect tracking, database query, and reporting tools, including Microsoft Office and comparable quality assurance platforms.
- Experience implementing end-to-end automation solutions and translating user, system, and business requirements into executable test scripts.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot defects, analyze root causes, collect testing metrics, and communicate status clearly in verbal and written formats.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
