Develop and execute differentiated sourcing strategies for assigned products, using leading global manufacturing service providers to deliver competitive cost, quality, innovation, supply continuity, and lifecycle performance. Own business performance for assigned product categories across the full lifecycle, leading supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contracting, relationship management, performance improvement, and capability development in partnership with Product Development and Devices Operations. Develop and maintain transparent, predictable, and competitive cost models using should-cost analysis, benchmarking, and cost-driver insights; lead cost-reduction plans and manage total cost of ownership throughout the product lifecycle. Generate competitive supplier, technology, and market intelligence to identify emerging capabilities, capacity constraints, cost trends, and geopolitical supply risks, and translate these insights into category roadmaps and sourcing decisions. Identify and mitigate supply continuity, capacity, financial, compliance, geopolitical, and operational risks by developing supplier resilience plans, recovery actions, and business continuity strategies. Lead change initiatives to improve sourcing efficiency, decision quality, and supplier performance by standardizing repeatable processes, simplifying workflows, eliminating duplicate work, and building organizational capability. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Sourcing teams to align category roadmaps, supplier selection, commercial decisions, launch readiness, production execution, and end-of-life transitions. Establish transparent governance, decision ownership, and operating rhythms to maintain strategic and operational alignment. Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles. OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles. OR equivalent experience. Deep industry knowledge relevant for Tier1 Contract Manufacturing in the consumer electronics industry. Demonstrated experience in market analysis to dissect market size, players, customers, growth, technology replacements/forecasts, pricing trends, etc., to formulate sourcing strategies. Experience in delivering best in class total cost of ownership (TCO), continuity of supply (COS), and in building partnerships. Expertise in financial statement analysis to derive should-cost models and cost competitiveness/financial strengths of suppliers before RFx is conducted. Combination of business and technical knowledge base, particularly for assigned categories. Project/timeline (Consumer Electronics Integrated Project Management) adherence experiences. Ability to articulate points of view with executive management but execute plans when directed. Passionate about opportunities to establish new approach to sourcing. Ability to communicate and think strategically to support ideology with facts.
