You’ll have the autonomy to lead and the resources to grow—while making a difference for patients and families every day.Local Team Collaboration:Become a part of a cohesive and established team of 20 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by 2 clinical performance nurses at St. Joseph Hospital.Work alongside a culturally diverse team with a balanced mix of experienced providers and new graduates.Collaborate closely with hospital administration, participating in committees and projects to improve hospital operations and patient care.Enjoy a supportive work environment with regular touch bases and social gatherings outside the hospital to foster team cohesion.Qualifications:Board-certified/eligible acute care nurse practitioner.Authorized to work in the United States.Scheduling:We are hiring for a day hosptialist ACNP position. Our block schedule (7 on/ 7 off) t balances work and personal life. Our team prioritizes family or outdoor time and support each other by covering shifts when needed.Key Responsibilities:Manage complex cases in a semi-open ICU with 24-hour intensivist coverage.Perform procedures as per your privileges (procedures are not required).Participate in team huddles at least three times a week and a monthly all-staff meeting to stay connected with practice updates, hospital-related topics, and developments within Sound Physicians.Attend monthly educational CME meetings and hospital-wide hospital medicine committee meetings.Collaborate with Hospitalist APPs, who independently manage pre-op patients in a clinical setting, with support from supervising physicians and staff.Living and Working in Lexington:Lexington, Kentucky, offers a charming blend of Southern hospitality and a vibrant cultural scene, making it an inviting place to call home.
